brown tahoe we have a little bit of rain but the winter storm warnings are going up there. you can see the snow across from the higher peaks in the sierra nevada. we're still seeing another line of showers moving in and it looks like a pretty good sell starting to make its way into the north bay. the cold front moves through and we will keep the rain going on and off today. it looks like once the system moves through, a lot of cold air behind it which means some showers and maybe even some thunderstorms. numbers outside right now mainly in the fifties but it is very wet out there. if you plan on traveling around it will be wet one. 60s in the sacramento valley and the further north you go the wetter it will get. it will be a bit wet outside. temperatures running in the '50s and '60s today and in the weekend, a chance of thunderstorms. we may get a break by tuesday. >> it is still slippery and wet but fortunately, no major accidents out there. not much to slow down other than slippery roads. here is a live look at the dublin interchange. still about a 15 minute drive coming

governor brown does. the elected legislators do. that's the difference. molly munger is very well intended, i think. prop 38 is well intended. i can see myself supporting it at another time. but governor brown was elected in 2010 by an overwhelming margin, outspent by meg whitman. now, it doesn't mean that he's a king or that any of us are, you know, have our final say, but he puts a balanced tax measure before the voters, proposition 30, that helps public education, but also balances the budget. you expect the other side, the tax payers association, the republicans, to oppose it. but you don't expect it from miss munger, and i must say, the only reason she can do this is because she's a wealthy person who can write a big check. now, i kind of go back to the basics of representative government. imperfect? no question about it. but in choosing between the two, i ask voters to look at two things. number one, the fact that prop 30 balances the budget and helps education, but also the munger initiative in some ways represents, to me, the initiative process ru
